Business Analyst

The Business Analyst has overall responsibility for internal and external client requirements gathering, analysis, solution documentation, integration and delivery validation. This person will lead meetings, recommend best practice solutions and processes, prepare documentation, and support process management for clients as well as colleagues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Analyze and present findings for internal and external client's business requirements and processes through document analysis, interviews, virtual meetings, and workflow analysis
  • Build and maintain project schedules through existing scheduling applications with particular emphasis on JIRA and Confluence
  • Support Process Management by managing and reviewing data, metrics, and reports for program performance, special projects and risk analysis
  • Support internal operations teams through regularly scheduled team meetings to determine appropriate process in handling changing needs
  • Perform requirements gathering to problem solve for any issues arising in operations’ day to day activities and implement appropriate process to see issue through to resolution
  • Attend external working client meetings with leadership teams and communicate pertinent information
  • Support the Account Management team
  • Assist with SCRUM meetings
  • Support the JIRA ticket and release management processes
  • Update the internal documents for external clients
  • Support and administer client training sessions by working with cross-functional internal teams

Skills, Experience, and Other Job-Related Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data production preferred; and health industry knowledge and experience a strong plus
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, PMP Certification is a plus
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a team environment
  • Experience independently structuring and executing complex analyses
  • Working knowledge of Windows office systems including full Microsoft Suite and Teams
  • Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Experience with data exploration, data visualization, data preparation, report design, and delivery using business intelligence tools
